While visiting from Texas in 1978, Cena fell in love with Palm Springs, the weather, the natural beauty of the village, the people and the culture and decided to stay.  Now living on a ranch of 72 acres in the high desert, Cena loves animals. She is personally responsible for some of the zoning laws in Palm Springs. She is a county fair prize winner for her  goat cheese cheesecake, brownies, apple butter and needlework.  A Realtor since 1989, Cena began her services to her clients in Palm Springs at Century 21.
